It Arrived.

The Klein MM420 showed up in the mail today. First real piece of test equipment I've ever owned. Sitting here at 6am with the ELEGOO kit in the other room and Takanaka playing — feels like exactly the right way to start this.

What I Have So Far

First Concepts — ECE Topics #1

Started MegawattKW's ECE Topics series this morning. Episode 1 covers the four fundamentals: voltage, current, resistance, and power.

V = IR  |  P = VI  |  P = I²R

Real-World Scale

  • Red LED — ~2V, a few milliamps, about 9mW
  • USB — 5V, 2A, 10W
  • Electric Vehicle — 800V, 200A, 160kW
